The GS2971A is a multi-rate SDI integrated receiver that contains comprehensive SMPTE processing based on SMPTE 425M, 292M and SMPTE 259M-C. The SMPTE processing function can enter the bypass mode to support signals using other coding schemes

GS2971A integrates Gennum's adaptive cable equalizer technology to achieve unprecedented cable length and jitter tolerance. It has DC recovery function, which can compensate the DC content of SMPTE sick signal.
