CV8788 basic description
The CV8788 high-definition multimedia interface transmitter integrates a low-power HDMI 1.3 coding transmission module and a 24-bit audio analog-to-digital conversion module. It supports the conversion of multiple video signals and analog/digital audio signals to standard HDMI signal output. The chip does not scale the image resolution, and the image quality is nearly lossless from the visual comparison. CV8788 provides flexible video interface, supports SDR/DDR transmission mode, and supports RGB, YUV444, YUV422 and other video formats. The advanced audio mode conversion module makes CV8788 not only support I2S, S/PDIF digital audio input, but also support analog audio input, making the application more flexible
